Xtreme - In the Community
At An Xtreme LimoScene, we're proud to be a business partner in our community. Throughout the year, we donate our limousines and resources to some outstanding charities and civic organizations throughout the Baltimore Metropolitan region. There is no greater feeling in the world than to bring a smile and a tear to sick child who opens their door to see a beautiful limousine in the driveway. And then they see.... The red carpet rolled out ..... And their tuxedoed chauffeur opening the door..... Waiting to take the child on their first limousine ride. It's an unforgettable feeling! That's why Xtreme is proud to be associated with each of these organizations: * Maryland Special Olympics * The Children's House at John's Hopkins * Believe in Tomorrow Organization * Howard County Police Pace & Foundation * Maryland Oriole's Softball Team At An Xtreme LimoScene, you don't have to be the biggest company in the world, to be the best! |
On December 21, 2006 at 6:00 p.m., the Xtreme Staff arrived at the Children's House with several of their Show Limousines - including their Brand New Limo Coach Bus. The red carpets were rolled out, the neon was in full bloom and the kids looked outside to see two (2) gorgeous limousines waiting to whisk them away. But their final destination was still a secret. A secret to not only the kids, but to their parents and siblings alike. At 6:40 p.m., the limousines rolled into the parking lot of Gunning's Seafood Restaurant. Once again, the red carpets were rolled out and the children and their families were then escorted to a private banquet room. Once there, the families were treated to a menu that was especially created for this occasion. This menu consisted not only of Gunning's special crab cake platter, but kid favorites such as chicken nuggets, salads and macaroni and cheese. The kids truly enjoyed the feast. Once dinner was over, feint bells could be heard in the background. Every couple of seconds, the bells would get louder. As the bells tolled, the kids looked up to see Santa Claus making an early visit to their room. Each child in attendance then received a specially wrapped gift courtesy of An Xtreme LimoScene. After a few Christmas Carols, it was time for Santa to leave and the party to end. But seeing the expressions on the faces of the children was the greatest gift of all.
An Xtreme LimoScene would like to thank Mr. Ed Gunning and Gunning's Seafood Restaurant for donating not only their banquet room but the costs of the food for this event as well. Without you Ed, it could not have worked!
Dawn, I wanted to personally thank you for a wonderful night out with the Believe In Tomorrow Children's House families. It took my appreciation of your company to an entire new level after witnessing the excitement of the children and parents with my own two eyes. I hope you enjoy the photographs, and I look forward to hearing from you all soon. Have a wonderful holiday, and thank you again. Your thoughtfulness goes a long way. Every single family had a wonderful time-- bringing smiles to their faces for even a few hours... says a lot. Take care, Alison Trinko Family Services Coordinator Believe In Tomorrow
